Biography
Stella Alexandraki is a pediatrician with a special interest in pediatric pulmonology. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a PhD.
She was admitted to the University of Athens through nationwide exams and graduated with honors (“Very Good”).
She completed her Pediatric Specialty at the Pediatric Departments of Asklipieio Voula Hospital and Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital.
Her doctoral thesis, titled “Pulmonary Function Tests in Children and Adolescents Aged 6-18 Years”, was completed at the Medical School of the University of Athens with distinction (“Excellent”).
She worked for two years at the pediatric and pediatric pulmonology department of Elpis Hospital under Dr. Haris Katsardis, where she trained in monitoring young patients and performing pulmonary function tests.
She also completed the Pediatric Nutrition postgraduate program at Boston University School of Medicine.
From 2008 to 2010, she worked at Iaso Children’s Hospital as a pediatrician and head of the Pediatric Pulmonology Laboratory, and then at REA Maternity Hospital until 2011.
Since 2012, she has been providing care at her Pediatric Clinic in Tympaki, Municipality of Faistos, monitoring newborns, infants, and children from the wider Messara area and southern Crete.
